CATEGORY: Taxation
COURSE ID: W869T, VERSION 1.00

1 CPE Credits
In the wake of the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), planning to maximize a taxpayer’s deduction for charitable contributions requires an understanding of both traditional planning techniques and the legislation’s impact on charitable gifts made by individuals and C corporations in 2026 and thereafter.

We will discuss the new below-the-line deduction for certain charitable gifts made by individuals, and the application of the .5% and 1.0% floors on deductible charitable gifts impacting individuals and C corporations, respectively. We will also examine how traditional planning techniques such as qualified contribution distributions (QCDs) fit in the post-OBBBA planning environment.

THIS WEBINAR IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CTEC OR CFP CREDIT.

Who should attend: Tax advisors and preparers of personal income tax returns or business entity tax returns.
