Walkthrough of an Organization's Procedures Relevant to IT Security  

Walkthroughs are an important part of an organization's overall IT security program. By identifying and addressing IT security weaknesses, organizations can protect their valuable assets and data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. Throughout the course, walkthroughs are described as being performed by an auditor, however while walkthroughs can be performed during audits, walkthroughs are also commonly conducted by internal audit, compliance teams, risk management, IT security or governance personnel and consultants.
