C. Tommy Moores, PhD, CPA (retired)

C. Tommy Moores is an Emeritus Professor of Accounting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He also has taught accounting at Texas Tech University and Louisiana State University. Dr. Moores has been a member of the American Accounting Association, the American Institute of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs, and the Nevada Society of CPAs. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Nevada Society of CPAs. Dr. Moores is the author or co-author of six interactive CPE courses for Checkpoint Learning. During his career Dr. Moores has taught CPE courses for the Texas Society of CPAs, Nevada Society of CPAs, and Financial Executives Institute. In addition, Dr. Moores has developed continuing professional education materials for professional business organizations and previously served as the Associate Editor for The Accounting Educators' Journal.
