Marshall B. Romney is a Professor of Accounting and Information Systems in the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. He has published twenty books, including the leading text on Accounting Information Systems, and has had over 100 articles and manuscripts published in academic and professional journals. Romney has also developed and taught training courses on fraud to the FBI, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and corporate and governmental organizations. He was also an advisor to the National Commission on Fraudulent Reporting. Romney's memberships include the Institute of Internal Auditors and the American Accounting Association, for which he served as president of the Information Systems/Management Advisory Systems section.
