William V. Allen, Jr. is President of Making Auditors Proficient, a training/consulting firm in The Villages, Florida. Bill is also a sole practitioner. He has specialized in governmental and not-for-profit auditing since 1985. From 1985 to 1990, he was the audit partner for the City of Los Angeles Audit. Bill is a nationally recognized speaker and trainer in governmental and not-for-profit auditing. He has spoken at many state society conferences and the AICPA National Accounting and Auditing Symposium and has received several Discussion Leader of the Year awards.
